Shipping/Handling & Backorders

Orders are shipped, with only a few exceptions, within two to three days of the order receipt date. If the item you selected is not in stock we will contact you to let you know and do our best to ship it as soon as possible.     

Dr. Doormat, Inc. uses Federal Express for all shipments. Our shipping/handling fee is charged per shipping address.  All shipping fees will vary according to your zip code and can be obtained by using the shipping calculator located on the check out page.  
  • Ground Service: Depending on location, delivery will take 1-5 business days.
  • Express Saver: Delivery will take 3 business days, no later than 7pm.
  • Two Day: Delivery will take 2 business days, no later than 7PM.
  • Standard Overnight:  The package will be delivered by 4:30PM the next business day.
  • Please Note:  Shipments to Puerto Rico are considered International.
Dr. Doormat, Inc. reserves the right to modify its exchange, return, shipping and handling policies.

Return Policy
At Dr. Doormat customer satisfaction is very important to us and we will do our best to meet our customers expectations with all of our products.  We will refund or exchange any new, unused and undamaged merchandise (less the shipping costs plus a $5.00 re-packing charge); the item must be returned in its original condition with its original packaging, collateral materials, and a Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA#).  Merchandise must be returned within 10 days of the original purchase date.      

Before returning an item, a Return Goods Authorization Number (RGA#) is required.  Simply email us at
returns@drdoormat.com include your original order # and your reason for return and we will give you an RGA # to ensure proper tracking of your return.  The RGA# must be included with your package at the time of the return.  

If you should receive an item that is "defective on arrival", please contact us immediately so we can replace the item at our expense, or refund your purchase in full.      

Price adjustments on previous purchases are not permitted.  Dr. Doormat will assume the "ship to" costs on any special promotions that offer ("free shipping") only on purchases that are not returned.
